Jerry W. Evenson

Jerry, a Martindale-Hubbell AV rated lawyer for over 20 years, is a Certified Civil Trial Specialist (National Board of Trial Advocacy).  He has been practicing law for 33 years and has been lead counsel in numerous trials that have gone to judgment or verdict, most of which have been jury trials.

 

Jerry was born, raised, and educated in North Dakota. After graduating from the University of North Dakota School of Law, he served as a law clerk for now Chief Justice Gerald VandeWalle at the North Dakota Supreme Court. From there, Jerry has focused his law practice on insurance defense – including the areas of personal injury liability, insurance coverage, bad faith, subrogation, construction and contract claims. He is a member of the State Bar Association of North Dakota, the Big Muddy Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Defense Research Institute.
